United Kingdom Armed Forces Rugby League are deeply saddened by the devastating news of the passing of SAC Scott Stevenson on Monday 16 September following an injury sustained during the Army v RAF Inter Services game.
SAC Stevenson was an extremely talented player and popular teammate within the UKAFRL squad. His passing is a terrible loss to the Armed Forces Rugby League Community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, teammates and colleagues at this sad time.
United Kingdom Armed Forces Rugby League are working closely with Army Rugby League, Royal Air Force Rugby League and the RFL to support all those affected by the incident.
UKAFRL are in discussion with Scott’s family, RAF RL and RN RL as to whether the planned final Inter Services round on Friday 20th will proceed. UKAFRL will publish a statement when a decision is reached.
