ARMY RL AWAIT CHALLENGE CUP 3RD ROUND DRAW



The third round draw for this years Challenge Cup takes place tonite at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington


The Army will represent the Armed Forces in the draw following their victory over the London Chargers on Saturday. Unfortunately the RAF suffered the same fate as the Royal Navy did in the first round going out of the competition on the Golden point rule after a great comeback against the Batley Boys.


The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup third round draw will be made tonight and there will be 12 amateur teams mixing in with Betfred League 1 clubs.


The draw will be streamed LIVE on the BBC Sport website tonight, from 7pm.


St Helens star Alex Walmsley will be joined by Salford Red Devils ace Kriss Brining in conducting the draw.


Pilkington Recs, Myton Warriors, Askam, Normanton Knights, Oulton Raiders, Featherstone Lions, Distington, Millom, Batley Boys, Kells, Hunslet Club Parkside were also victorious in the second round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup last weekend and are in the hat together with the following Betfred League 1 Clubs Bradford Bulls, Keighley Cougars, York City Knights, Workington Town, West Wales Raiders, North Wales Crusaders, Coventry Bears, Hunslet, Oldham, Hemel Stags, Doncaster, Whitehaven, Newcastle Thunder or London Skolars in the third round.
