ARMY RL HEAD TO CUMBRIA IN CHALLENGE CUP 3RD ROUND

Following last night’s 3rd round draw the Army find themselves heading to Cumbria to take on Kells ARLFC

This fixture will involve a trip for the Army of some 350 miles from their traditional home in Aldershot to the Whitehaven Home of the Kells Club.

Kells play in the National Conference League Premier Division and have been there for several years finishing 6th in last year’s competition.

Final details of the fixture will be posted here once the two clubs have confirmed the arrangements but the match will take place over the weekend of 24/25th February.

One other highlight of last night’s draw of interest to AF Teams is that the Normanton Knights have been drawn at home to the Batley Boys. Ironically the two teams they beat the Royal Navy and RAF respectively in previous rounds on the golden point rule
